Discover the impressive landscapes of El Chaltén, one of the most important trekking destinations in Argentine Patagonia, on a full-day excursion from El Calafate.
During the journey, you will enjoy panoramic views of the Patagonian steppe and make a stop at Parador La Leona before continuing toward El Chaltén. Once there, the experience includes two easy-to-moderate walks: Mirador de los Cóndores and Chorrillo del Salto.
From Mirador de los Cóndores, you can enjoy panoramic views of El Chaltén, the Río de las Vueltas and, weather permitting, the impressive Mount Fitz Roy. Afterwards, you will visit Chorrillo del Salto, a beautiful waterfall surrounded by Patagonian forest.
The excursion concludes with a complete lunch at a local restaurant before returning to El Calafate.
